The Sicard SP-400 unique parallelogram lifting device is designed to move the center of gravity of the plow towards the front of the truck. This will permit a lighter front axle capacity for a smooth and comfortable ride for the operator. The plow being always parallel to the ground, will not interfere with the snow plow lights, improving the visibility of the driver for a safer operation.

The Sicard multi section reversible snow plow SP-400, is designed for highly demanding snow clearange in North America. Its unique design will give you an optimum cleaning with salt saving on the most uneven municipal roads. The flexible blade sections will adapt themselves precisely to the road surface. Mounted on cold weather resistant polyurethane blocks, combined to four prestress elastomer links, each section will automatically avoid obstacles and protect itself from damages.
Efficient and quiet
The impact absortion system made of highly resistant polyurethane combined with the parallelogram lifting arms will help to reduce noise levels during the snow clearing operation. The oscillating system will permit to the Sicard SP-400 plow to incline 10° horizontally , so the plow will match perferctly the road contour.
Fast and easy
The Sicard SP-400 hydraulic coupling system will allow the truck operator to attach or remove the snow plow without assistance. Safe, simple and fast laterals locks will hold the plow tight to the truck mounting plate, without any required tools .
The Sicard SP-400 moldboard is made of four independent sections. The steel thick ness is 1/8 in.(3.175mm), reinforced with five vertical ribs, 1/4 in. (6.35mm)thick.
Compared to a conventional arrangement of hitch and plow, the parallel lifting system will set the plow closer to the truck . A simple self locking system will maintain the plow horizontally in the raised position.
